Sandy is a short story writer and a former journalist whose work has appeared in The Associated Press, The Village Voice and The Los Angeles Times. She currently volunteers for WriteGirl, a mentoring organization for teenage girls.
She has previously worked as a writer for the Hillary for President campaign and her work has been featured in publications such as Jane, Nylon, and Marie Claire magazines. Christina believes that education is not a privilege but a right, which every child should have access to. Her goal is to showcase students’ work and nurture their hopes for a career in the arts.
