Richard graduated from California State University Long Beach where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education with an emphasis in Creative Writing. He originally began college as an Art major and studied Graphic Design at Cerritos College for a short period before he found his true calling. 

As an aspiring writer, Richard spends part of his free time reading literary fiction, fairy tales, science fiction, horror/fantasy, and books on writing to inspire his own creative ambitions. He currently works as a search marketer in Orange County and likes to spend the rest of his time with family, admiring nature on hiking trails, and watching movies. Be on the lookout for his first book in the not very near future.
