Trust me when I say I never thought I would come to juvenile hall.
My mom educated me and told me about it
When I was a lil’ kid.
But I thought it was to scare me
So I would do good.
I never thought I would be in here
Seeing kids I grew up with in here
Also serving time.
Trust me when I saw my judge doesn’t know,
Doesn’t know what it’s like to be me.
To be in here dealing with what I have to deal with.
Dealing with life
That doesn’t make sense and is unfair.
Trust me when I say
I’m done with the halls.
Ready to be done with the system
Playing with my emotions.
